Steve Williams at Boalsburg Moto HangRiding Season Kicks Off in Central Pennsylvania with the Boalsburg Moto Hang

Get your motorcycles and scooters out of mothballs and ride on down to the Moto Hang in Boalsburg on Wednesday evening at 5:30 pm. To find your way check out the Google Map to the Moto Hang.

Here’s the message I received from the founder of the event — Ken Hull:

Ladies and Gentleman, Start your Engines!

This Wednesday will be our first Moto Hang gathering for 2016! Please come with your bike and help get things rolling! This year we will have some basic snacks and refreshments for you along with the usual fun and friendly atmosphere that’s the hallmark of our events. Hope to see you all this Wednesday!

Ride On!
Ken

Steve, I thoroughly enjoyed your Moto Hang reports last summer. I hope that this season’s get-togethers attract at least as many odd bikes and unusual characters (or is that unusual bikes and odd characters?).

Lots of diversity in machines and riders at the Moto-Hang. I’m planning to be there tomorrow evening to document some of the doings. Stay tuned for that.

So, did you ride, walk or drive? In other words, is your scooter back from the shop?

Moto-Hang is tomorrow night. A call to Kissell’s today will determine how I get there. At the moment — still scooterless.

      You’re up early! Or late.

I like the perspective you achieved with the photo, as if the event revolves around you….nice depth.

The credit goes to either Paul Ruby or Gordon Harkins. I think Gordon made the photo. I’m hardly at the center of the event. I’m a wallflower…

Sorry to hear about your surgery Robert. Hope things went well and you’re on the road to recovery which leads to the road with the Suzuki…

Given the sunshine here in southern Ontario this Wednesday May 4 morning and the warming temperatures may the first Boalsburg Moto-Hang for 2016 be good.

Your personal mailing address is Boalsburg; if you have no scooter, perhaps a bicycle, or perhaps walk?

Rain, rain and more rain here lately. Everything is lush and green. My spirit is low and grumbling.

I can easily walk to the Moto hang. Junior and I often stroll by the Moto Shack on our walks. It’s a small town here.
