Riding Season Kicks Off in Central Pennsylvania with the Boalsburg Moto Hang
Get your motorcycles and scooters out of mothballs and ride on down to the Moto Hang in Boalsburg on Wednesday evening at 5:30 pm. To find your way check out the Google Map to the Moto Hang.
Here’s the message I received from the founder of the event — Ken Hull:
Ladies and Gentleman, Start your Engines!
This Wednesday will be our first Moto Hang gathering for 2016! Please come with your bike and help get things rolling! This year we will have some basic snacks and refreshments for you along with the usual fun and friendly atmosphere that’s the hallmark of our events. Hope to see you all this Wednesday!
Ride On!

To see some of the past doings at the Moto Hang check out some of the Boalsburg Moto Hang photos.
Ry Austin says
Steve, I thoroughly enjoyed your Moto Hang reports last summer. I hope that this season’s get-togethers attract at least as many odd bikes and unusual characters (or is that unusual bikes and odd characters?).
Steve Williams says
Lots of diversity in machines and riders at the Moto-Hang. I’m planning to be there tomorrow evening to document some of the doings. Stay tuned for that.
RichardM says
So, did you ride, walk or drive? In other words, is your scooter back from the shop?
Steve Williams says
Moto-Hang is tomorrow night. A call to Kissell’s today will determine how I get there. At the moment — still scooterless.
You’re up early! Or late.

I like the perspective you achieved with the photo, as if the event revolves around you….nice depth.
Steve Williams says
The credit goes to either Paul Ruby or Gordon Harkins. I think Gordon made the photo. I’m hardly at the center of the event. I’m a wallflower…
Robert says
Post some pictures. I can’t be there. Major surgery.
Steve Williams says
Sorry to hear about your surgery Robert. Hope things went well and you’re on the road to recovery which leads to the road with the Suzuki…
Mike says
Jealous, jaloux, and eifersuchtig.
I wanna be there toooooo….
Steve Williams says
Come on Mike. You’re only 30 to 40 hours away by jet plane!
Joe says
Well, i love the event for motorcycle and scooter. I wish I get there to join the season. How is the event for motorcycle soon?
Steve Williams says
The first event is over. Next one will be the third Wednesday of the month. Say hello if you stop by.
Bryce Lee says
Given the sunshine here in southern Ontario this Wednesday May 4 morning and the warming temperatures may the first Boalsburg Moto-Hang for 2016 be good.
Your personal mailing address is Boalsburg; if you have no scooter, perhaps a bicycle, or perhaps walk?
Steve Williams says
Rain, rain and more rain here lately. Everything is lush and green. My spirit is low and grumbling.
I can easily walk to the Moto hang. Junior and I often stroll by the Moto Shack on our walks. It’s a small town here.
