Riding Bitch

July 16, 2015 by Scooter in the Sticks 8 Comments

HOW TO RIDE BITCH from Alex Vivian on Vimeo.

Every male riding a motorcycle needs to study this video.  If you are going to ask your wife, girlfriend or anyone for that matter to ride on the back of your motorcycle or scooter you should first explore the experience yourself.  This video will show you how.

Maybe it’s a good rule of thumb to experience yourself anything you would ask another to do whether it’s riding bitch or anything else.  Think about the things you would have to try…

Very funny and that’s a new expression I learned today.

I’ve not known of that expression long myself though the moment I heard it I knew where it came from.

I did give an old guy a ride once in a small Iowa town on my Elite 110, since while I was taking pictures of failing retaining walls (work related), he approached me and said he really needed the ride. Since it was only about 10 blocks, I told him to hold onto the grab rails, and we rode as smoothly as I could at about 10-15 mph (think we were about 100 pounds over the weight limit, since I was about 20-stone at the time).

Only time I ever voluntarily rode pillion was with Jason Pridmore at STAR Motorcycle School, which is a whole different experience – being leaned over 45° in a 90-mph sweeping corner is better than a roller coaster.

I think I’ve ridden pillion one time. That was enough. Never again. I trust no one that much. I seldom even get in an automobile that I’m not driving.

Leaned over at 90mph would give me another heart attack!

Easier to trust a rider with two FIM World Endurance Championships and two AMA professional championships than Joe Blow. 🙂

I suppose that’s so. My resistance to riding pillion is likely completely irrational. Or maybe I just like having control…

I rode with a bunch of guys from the Philly area and they always say” ass, grass or gas! Nobody rides for free”

I used to hear that years ago when I was hitchhiking…
