As the new year unfolds before us I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a happy and safe new year both on and off the road. I hesitate making resolutions, mostly because as I review my journals written over the years (40 years worth) I see the same things come up — eat better, exercise more, and pay more attention to life.
So I suppose my resolutions are cast in concrete.
Best wishes for a New Year!
Hmmm, those resolutions sound awfully familiar…
Happy New Year!
It’s probably programmed into our genes…
Steve keep it up your posts are a welcome read always. Brent
Thanks Brent. Lately I’ve been feeling a lack of motivation. Maybe if I get more miles on the Vespa things will improve!
Happy New Year Steve!
Here’s hoping the Vespa is back on the road soon…..did it turn out to be the starter?
Starter is fine. I think it’s the fuel pump but am awaiting word from the technician.
Take more riding vacations.
Hah. What are those?
Cher Steve,
Bonne année 2015 de France !
Je espère que vous avez une grande nouvelle année!
Howsabout we rename “Resolutions” to “Anticipations”? There’s something so self-flagellating about “New Years Resolutions”… Here’s how I punished myself last year, and so here’s how I plan to punish myself this year. It’s a wonder any of us accomplish anything.
So, that said… Steve, may all of your 2015 New Years Anticipations come to pass!
Sounds good to me though I anticipate another year of failed resolutions! *grin*
Be good to yourself Raindog and have a great New Year!
Anticipations sounds waaaaaay better than “Stuff i hope i can do but probably won’t bother with after 2 weeks or so” 😀
Happy New Year, Steve!
I think two weeks is optimistic. I’ve already lost interest in a number of anticipations!
Happy New Year to you as well Steve. Regardless of your resolutions or anticipations – may it be wonderful year filled with inspiration and motivation!
So far, so good. Once I have the Vespa back I’ll explore the new year even further!
