Parked the Vespa in favor of bigger, faster transport yesterday. Flying west for a few days of work. That’s the Colorado landscape you see below. A lot more pivot irrigation being used here than I saw the last time I came through. That was in 1970.
I know I am in the wild west now. On the way to the hotel from the airport I saw one motorcycle. A scooter actually. And a pink one at that. Yee Haw!
View from my hotel room this morning just before 6am. Like the view but it’s hard to beat the bed at home.
Should be back on the Vespa soon.
On the road for work as well. Sitting in DIA waiting for my next flight. It’s going to be a long day…

Love the view from the room – especially ’cause the view out my back window this morning was of a few inches of SNOW!
RichardM: I don’t fly enough anymore to get tired of the adventure. Everything remains strange and new. I can remember some hellish trips years ago. One in particular on the a Pan Am Clipper — Lockheed Constellation — from Idlewild Airport to Shannon, Ireland. Those big 18 cylinder engines make a racket.
