I’ve not seen Cliff in a long time now. I think that Vino was Lindsey’s. Cliff had a Lambretta. I remember him describing that accident. Were weird low speed plowing by the Caddy.

Cliff H moved away for years, has come back and now works at Penn State. I still have the SCSC ID and password for Yahoo if anyone wants to start up the scooter club. That’s your LX150 on the left and the Vino in the middle belonged to Cliff. It met it’s end when a Cadillac hit it and dragged it along 20 feet on University Drive. Not sure if you remember that. We have a long love affair with powerful machines of every sort from Shop Vacs and lawn mowers to motorcycles and cars. It’s hard for many people to consider a scooter a serious form of transportation when they think an automobile might not be a safe enough so they better get an SUV.

I think rising fuel prices may sway the thinking of some but it will be a slow process. I’m working on a post about what one gives up to ride.
