I was considering the Heidenau Scouts but could not find a set anywhere. So the Dunlops were the answer for me. And like you, the new tires are a marked improvement over the stock CEATs. Especially since they were worn.

Still loving the Himalayan!

Back when I had my Himalayan, I remember the Bike being totally changed with a fresh pair of Heidenau Scouts. The handling was just so much better that with the CEEDs.
Enjoy the Himalayan, I loved that little bike!
