When I did the trip to Americade this past May I had a surprise coming. My friends, who usually do demo rides all day, were more interested in riding. After a brief pass through the expo and demo area we were off. Three days of riding in the Adirondacks ensued. The difference for me is enjoying the company of my friends and brother. We sampled small, local eateries. Never once got on an Interstate. Had one break down that was fixed by one of us and averaged one hundred miles every day. I’m still basking in the memory. The number of people I ride with doesn’t count. Just the good time.

Hi Steve. We sure have a long history together. You’ve seen me through half a dozen wives and girlfriends. I guess photography is the glue because for some reason I haven’t ever (50 years?) given it up. I did lose my Pittsburgh photo friends that was a pretty dynamic period in my life. Great tribute to friendship and riding, Steve. Paul is a FB friend and it seems like I’ve been reading this blog for a couple decades. Although I’ve never personally met either of you I feel like you are both old friends. Makes me wish I lived closer and could hang out with you two. Thanks again for sharing and the inspiration.
