It took me some time and focused attention to risk and fears for me to get to a place where I felt comfortable being on the road. Skill practice helped. But the more powerful stuff had to do with riding strategy. Learning how to be on the road among other vehicles. There's some good training on YouTube3 in this area.

Good luck on your riding life!

Thank you...I deeply appreciate your mature and insightful comments, recommendations, suggestions and thoughts on an extremely important topics - safety and how it relates to riding a scooter.
You've help me generate a greater interest in my own personal safety and how I can always be thinking defensively instead of feeling afraid to ride.
Again - thank you

Sorry for the month long delay in responding. Geez... I have no excuse.

Riding as if no one sees us is a healthy approach. And pedestrians have walked out in front of me as well.

It's nice here now too. Nice mornings to ride.
