I apologize for the long delay in responding. It’s funny how a small task can sometimes grow into a mountain seemingly impossible to scale.

So far, making videos has been a satisfying experience though I can’t completely articulate why. Perhaps that understanding will appear over time. Much like my experience with blogging.

Your description of you and Steve with the thermos inspired my own version of that which I’ll post sometime soon. It’s been a long time since I had my Nissan stainless steel thermos along on a ride. It was perfect.

While I’ve not seen hordes of riders or large groups of people gathering here I have noticed a more relaxed tone to life in general. Hopefully, we’ll all make good choices and minimize any future outbreaks. Sadly, for Kim and I, we fall into the high-risk categories due to age and immune system challenges so I suspect social distance and isolation will remain part of our life until some dramatic change in the scope of virus or treatments and vaccines appear.

I’ll check out the movie. My naked experiences outside the house have been rare. And in much younger, fitter days. The more I think about it, the less I think of my plan!

I went on a short ride today wearing the new helmet. The fit is much better. The wind used to move the helmet around on my head. This new one stays in place. And the airflow is much better as well.

Tomorrow, May 8, the stay at home order for our region expires. I’ll have to check the guidelines to determine what exactly moving into the yellow phase means for me.

The garden grows lusher every day. Both Kim and I are on the lookout now for morels. It’s that time.

The only reason I may begin to ride again is that our medical system doesn’t seem to be loaded and my fear of the hospital has declined. Other than that, I don’t see myself going to the grocery store or many other places that bring me into contact with other people. On the road, it seems like the twilight zone at times. Where did everyone go?
