better to have the framed by me larger poster.

as you requested.

And here too, hot and humid at least until after the two national
holidays July 1 and July 4 this present week. Hopefully less
heat and humidity by week’s end.

Thanks Bryce. The “poster” is really just a small announcement card quick printed at the local Fedex store. I considered a large poster but there’s really no options in State College for such things. Not like you see in cities. Everything is pretty tightly controlled. Even on campus. I have some 8.5×11 ones but they are a completely different layout and design.

I’ll have to think about framing something. Just never have done that with my stuff. Things get stuffed in a box and wait for mice to eat them…

I’ll post an online version of the show sometime in mid-August. So you’ll have a chance to see what was on the walls along with a look at the gallery installation. Not sure how I’ll do that yet but I’ll think of something!

A book is next. Just needed to get the show done first.

In reply to Kathy. Chickens mesmerize Junior by freely walking by him unconcerned with his presence. Sort of puts him in a trance to see this strange creature moving by. He's quite polite out in public when it comes to critters. If they were on his turf.... I hesitate to think what might happen.

In reply to Kitty. The opening is on Friday, August 3, from 5 to 8pm at the Art Alliance Gallery Downtown in State College, PA. The gallery is in the Martin Luther King Plaza next to the Fraser Street Garage. Right next to Duck Donuts!

That poster is superb. Worthwhile having it framed. Would it be possible to purchase a copy of the poster? In years past special events in large cities all over the world published their large often colour advertising posters. Over the years many of those same posters evolved into art; framed art, placed on walls in medical offices and residences as well as elsewhere.
Your poster is not enormous, more of a simple poster. Still worthy of a frame,
still worthy of retention for the sake of posterity!

Exciting times! That really is a great announcement shot. I’m excited for you.

How do chickens mesmerize dogs? I would think they’d go nuts and want to chase them. Although my dogs tend to freeze when they see potential prey and go into stealth mode, walking VERY slowly and quietly toward the subject of their attention.
