My dad had a ’59 Beetle convertible. And a ’62 at some point as well. My ’70 Beetle had a sunroof. I loved that car. And remembered it as a tight, well performing machine. A few years ago I got to drive one and thought, “Many this is junk.”. These modern cars have wrecked me. Same with the vintage Vespa scooters…
