Paul has had two of those Ducati superbikes but seems more content and comfortable on the Hypermotard. Certainly seems more practical to me. But you’re right, the 1198 has some wheel and hair raising power!

I’m not sure what it’s like in Canada, but in the US, there seems to be an obsession with safety and no exposure to risk. Living, getting up each day and walking out into the world, means taking risk. We don’t seem to accept that and our legal system activity seems to thrive on risk taken and bad things happening. Oh well, doesn’t mean as individuals we need to participate in that madness. Sometimes I wonder how many people pass up a legal opportunity to “cash in” because they believe that they made a choice to take a risk?

There are twins, and there are TWINS – if you want loud, hot, and enough grunt to pick up the front wheel in 3rd gear, find a used Ducati 1198 Superbike.

I think it’s true that too few take chances and fail to get the most out of life.

It does resonate with the healthy dose of life doesn’t it. Glad you find a little value in it like I do.
