I am glad the gloom is fading away and the promise of spring is on the horizon. I have found myself on the back of my bike or scoot more than once on the quest for chocolate, but not chocolate donuts. We have a Tim Horton’s donut & coffee shop less than a 2 minute walk from my house, I just pretend it isn’t there because I love the Canadian Maple ones. Are those little chocolate ones that are in the cellophane packages?

The chocolate addiction I can sort of understand but boxes of tiny donuts!? I think the Winter doom and gloom has affected your thinking…

4×5/8×10 yes. Definitely following the gloom. There is something about large format, a formal measured progression,simple yet required steps to ensure a proper image. And remember to remove the slide before exposure and push it back in after the exposure. Have forgotten to do both at times.
Now as this chocolate craving.. You’re not pregnant however Hershey’s chocolate just somehow doesn’t taste like the Hershey’s of old. Too many artificial ingredients methinks now constitute what we would term chocolate.

Look for an simple old style chocolate shop which produces unadulterated chocolate; how about
that sweet shop you frequented in Tyrone? Although that’s a bit of a haul on the Vespa this time of year. Keep trying, a sweet tooth is an all conuming affliction, enjoy!

I really like the shot of the tree branches framed in the overcast sky….I’ve always sought and found the symmetry of tree branches….capturing it is another story.
