Has anyone ever commented about how Magnesium Chloride on road surfaces is, for those of us who venture out on two wheels during winter? (I would imagine bridges and storm sewers last longer where the Magnesium Chloride is used–as opposed to Rock Salt, and maybe fewer “Frost Heaves”, too?)-

I only live a little north of you, yet the temperatures always seem to be five to ten degrees warmer where you are. I’ve set 35* as my bottom limit so I didn’t ride Saturday. Better days are coming.

Yep! Had a great ride up into the hills north of town. Easy to go up, more challenging to come down under full control.

I did!
Took an hour to chip the ice pack out from in front of the garage door (must fix that gutter leak this year..) but it was so worth it to pull out a bike and go for a quick ride around town.
