Bryce Lee: The Leica M6 is still alive and well. My darkroom is the problem. Once I make the plumbing repairs I’ll be back in business. I wonder though if my hesitation in making those repairs signals that I no longer want to shoot film….

Peter Anderson: Thanks for the kind words about Scooter in the Sticks. I'm glad it may have played a part in you starting your own blog. I hope you find the same kind of satisfaction as I have from the process.

Visited your blog and saw your new Honda scooter. It's a beautiful machine. I'll have to follow your adventures there.

Your first post outlines where you hope to take the blog. If it is anything like my own journey it will continually change. For me, that's part of the attraction.

Dar: Yes, Aleta has the 125cc Vino. It's a pretty scooter. I look forward to many more rides together.

Mark Myers: I've been running Kenda 413 tires for the past couple years. They are inexpensive, perform well, and last longer than others I have used. Keep in mind I am not an aggressive rider who is going to notice the subtle differences in cornering ability and stickiness.

In the past the I've used Avons, Pirelli, Sava, Continental Zippy, and Michellin. The only one that stood out as being "different' were the Pirelli tires. Felt really smooth over time and sticky. But in the end I went with the Kenda tires because they were economical.
