Dear Scooter in the Sticks (Steve):

I'll be sending you a note confirming my rally schedule shortly. I will also be reserving you a seat in the front row for my lecture.

My prersentation has very little to do with blogging, and is more about the communications aspects of bringing readers into a story. It will be as informative and as colorful as my monthly columns in the BMW magazine.

I look foreward to meeting you there.

Jack Riepe
Twisted Roads

Ross Attix: No, just a First Gear Kilimanjaro IV riding jacket. I contemplated taking a rain suit along but the way the BMW was configured there wasn't an easy way to stow it. And I had left all my bungee cords back in the Vespa at Kissell's. So I forged ahead unprepared.

Luckily the rain was light and sporadic.

Brent: As I read about the event I thought it would fill fast too. Seems like a great way to learn how to ride in rough terrain without trashing your bike.

Let me know if you'll be coming to the rally. I plan to be there on Friday, July 22 to attend Dr. Riepe's lecture on blogging.
