A ride through town at 3am on Christmas Eve… What a great thing!

We shared our Christmas Eve festivities with friends on the other side of town, but were back at home by 10pm. I put Gregorian chants on, instead of the usual Christmas music, and sat back with a cup of egg nog, the adult variety.

It was just nice to be at home. The driving would start at 6:30am the next day… And I’d end up spending eight hours in the car… But that has become a holiday tradition too.

Anonymous: It’s much easier to haul a tree than it appears. They don’t weigh much and backroads allow for slow travel.
