Hi Steve hi GC hi HRW: I looked impaired standing there because I’m holding up the Suzuki. Note – no kickstand in place. If I move…it fall down go boom. My impression jumping back and forth is like Steve’s. The ride is much cushier on the LX150 than on the DRZ400SM. The seat is wide and soft. The scooter is MUCH quieter too. The Suzuki has a noisy titanium Akrapovic hipo exhaust system and it is a 400cc one cylinder. The exhaust note is POP POP POP sounding like a loud helicopter. The LX150 turns on a dime and is light as a feather so you can thread it through any tight spots and drag is sideways between the lawnmower and the Weber. The supermotard is tall very tall with a competition dirt bike suspension. It handles like a monkey swinging in a tree though probably the best handling motorcycle I’ve ever been one. It is light, powerful and agile. The LX150 is the most fun you can have for under $5000. The Suzuki is a lot of fun too but in different ways. I drive it over trees and curbs and through the path in the woods and 200 miles to my girls house (but my butt is killing me). Dial in a fist full, Paul

That was a great trip, Steve. Thanks for taking us along. The only thing missing is Paul's impression of your Vespa. How did he like scooting?

That picture of Paul standing with his bike on the road makes him look like he just came to this planet about 3 hours ago. He looks incredibly directionally impaired in that picture. Very funny. 🙂

mad: Thanks for your kind words. From the way you describe your riding I think you would probably enjoy the DRZ. It seems like a stallion ready to bolt. And it looks so strange with those little smooth tires....

lucky: Not sure if they had the RC cola or not. I was there for bacon and eggs, homefries and toast.

I seldom drink soda and when I do it is usually sparkling water or something. I did eat pizza Thursday night though! Does that count??

Did that restaurant actually have RC?

I went to a restaurant a while back that had a sign just like that, only they had stopped serving that king of colas a few years back.

Nice write up, I’d have loved to be along. I’d also love to have a go on one of those DRZ’s see what all this supermoto fuss is about.
