kitkatknit: Same here for awhile. I've gone through my first level of thinsulite Alpenstar gloves and on to my heavier Tourmasters yesterday when the temperature was 28 degrees early in the morning. Those gloves just don't cut it for long. I had to stop several times to warm my hands on the headlight.

I need to buy some really serious winter gloves and am still dancing between the Orina 118s and the Tourmaster Winter Elite's.

Ride safe out in Washington.

dan: I have all the gear but have not yet gotten my head into the fall in temperature yet. I used to love the cold but as I get older I find it an effort to tolerate it at first. I like to be warm while I'm out in the cold if that makes sense.

The adventuremotogear.com site has some nice stuff. I have to be careful to not spend too much time exploring all the things I'd like to have....

Ride safe in Seattle!

steve

We've been blessed in Seattle with near summer days at 70 degress. Nights have gotten chilly in the upper 30's in areas, but mostly 40's.

I just recently got the top perform and pants perform (wind stopper) from adventuremotogear.com. I ordered them back in August...! They must have been on backorder... This is expensive stuff but worth it to me to keep riding :)

Dan
