Dan: Fog is great. I always love it for making photographs and find riding in it great too. I enjoy the night too, a time when most people want to hide away indoors.

Fog and snow quiet the world down. The fog, especially, creates opportunities for letting our imaginations run wild and create whatever it is we want to see in its shadows.

OK, I would really like a full-size shot of that first image. I’m working on my oil painting technique, and that would make a perfect model for a practice landscape canvas.

What I’m trying to say, Steve, is that here you have fully rebutted anyone who would dare to assert that photography isn’t Art.
