irondad,

Thanks for the comments on my photographs.
Inertia---it's one of my biggest problems. I have to really push to do a lot of things, even the fun things. So many negative statements going on in my head. Experience has shown in almost every case that once I start something I really enjoy it. Today was no exception. Once I was rolling down the road it was heaven---cold and all. I just need to keep pushing...

Still in jeans and cotton long johns. The fairing on the Vespa does a pretty good job keeping the wind off my legs so it is tolerable. Up top I have lots of layers but the wind still gets through. Next winter I will have some new riding gear so I can do some longer rides without having to stop so much.

The hot chocolate dribbled all over my gloves rather than the cup....

You have the most amazing picture quality. The cup on the scooter seat. The sparkle off the metal. Love it! Don't you find that after you overcome inertia the ride was worth the trouble? Like you say, the hard part is getting over the hump. Are you still riding in jeans and long johns? To quote Yoda "tough boy, you are".
The only other thing I can say is that you are the tidiest hot chocolate drinker I have ever seen. If that was my cup there would be dribbles of chocolate down the side!

Dan
