Riding makes it possible to “disconnect” from the rat race. It is so easy to get consumed in the importance of everything at work that I forget what is really important sometimes. I like to think of myself as a critical component to things at at times I am but most of the time I just need to be reminded to take time to wander.

I agree 100%, all that wander are not lost.

There are days I go to lunch on the bike and tell folks they will be lucky if I come back. My life credo is “Not all who wander are lost”. I think we need that.
